Dad's Take

Hey guys,

Randy here again. This is my second blog post. Today was a fantastic day. Sharon and I went up to the local Olive Garden for dinner. Ashley was at her friend Megan's, Billy was over at Kyle's, and Timmy is next door with Debbie and their family. We took this opportunity to get away and treat ourselves. Lord knows we needed it.

It is really nice to treat your wife to a dinner out and not have to deal with cleaning up or doing dishes. Luckily there wasn't a wait so Sharon and I sat right down. We started the evening off with the bread sticks and salad (I had to make sure I didn't eat too much and spoil dinner). I ordered chicken parmesan and Sharon the alfredo. We also shared a lovely bottle of Pinot.

Boy, we left full, and even had some to take home for leftovers. Just a perfect night out with my wife.

Hey everybody its Front Porch Dad (Randy..Miller). Welcome to my blog. I decided to make a blog for everybody who wants to keep up with the family, my day to day, and some cool stuff that interests me. I am new to this whole blogging thing, but Sharon suggested I give it a shot. So here we go. I guess we could could start with some info about my family.

Me: Father (Randy Miller). I love grilling, sports, the outdoors, coaching my kid's sports teams, wood working, and light domestic beer.

Sharon: My wife, my rock. Known for her Shepherd's pie and kind heart. If I didn't meet her in 1983, who knows where I would be.

Timmy: The youngest (Aged 9). Good kid, still learning how to listen. Constantly picks nose

Billy: Middle child, Aged 16. Rebellious kid right now, athletic and needs to focus on sports potential

Ashley: Oldest daughter, Aged 18. Plans to attend a community college. I wish she applied herself more.
